- Take a few deep breaths.
Relax yourself before the beginning of your test. Right before you begin, take a few deep breaths to calm your nerves. This isn’t the time to try to quiz yourself on everything you know. Begin your test calm to make sure you can accurately answer each question effortlessly.
- Skim the test when you receive it.
This will give you a general idea of what’s on the test. That way you won’t be surprised at any question and can give your brain time to prepare answers. It will also ease your anxiety. Once you realize that you are more than capable of acing your test, you will begin to relax.
- If you don’t know the answer, skip it and return to the question later.

Last but not least, FOCUS! Everything that is going on outside your test can wait. Focus on your test and showing all of the knowledge you retained while studying. There’s no point in stressing over anything that won’t help you with your test. Zone out the noise and pay attention to the test in front of you.
